With the aim of making a tangible contribution to addressing these global challenges, Wateralia was established in 2021 by Caprari and Ambienta, one of Europe’s leading asset managers entirely focused on environmental sustainability.
In 2022, Calpeda joined the Group, expanding its technological expertise and portfolio of products and solutions for water management.
In 2025, Wateralia strengthened its international presence through the acquisition of Aquatec, an Australian company specializing in the design and development of integrated systems for water management and treatment. The acquisition consolidated the Group’s position in markets outside Europe, enhancing its engineering capabilities and system integration expertise.
In 2026, the acquisition of CSA marks another strategic milestone in Wateralia’s growth strategy. The Italian company, specializing in the design and manufacture of highly engineered control valves for water networks, brings complementary expertise and advanced technologies for the regulation, control and protection of water infrastructure.
Today, Wateralia is an international industrial group serving customers in over 140 countries, with seven manufacturing facilities and 27 international subsidiaries.
